HOUSE DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP SHOULD RESIGN

It should begin with Pelosi. This was a time when the Democrats (and Obama) could have stepped up and approved the bailout proposal or come up with one of their own. They could have shown leadership when Bush, Paulson, and the Republicans seemed to be floundering. But leadership would have involved risk and failure. Evidently fear of failure and "gotcha" politics dominates their thinking. But success would have assured a Democrat landslide in November.
