It has been interesting to watch how generous the press has been with Obama's early diplomatic failures, especially on his latest European trip. Letterman and Leno seemed to have ignored items which they would have skewered Bush for. I assume someone is chronicling these gaffs, but I could not the latest one pass by.
“There’s a lot of -- I don’t know what the term is in Austrian -- wheeling and dealing, and people are pursuing their interests, and everybody has their own particular issues and their own particular politics,” he said in response to an Austrian reporter’s question.
Austrians speak German, Mr. President--not Austrian.
