It is a moot issue now, but Romney was criticized by Polifact for one of his campaign ads about Chrysler moving jobs to China. It was called the "lie of the year" by Polifact, but it was Polifact which was twisting the truth.
And Romney was also "derided" for some comments on Mali. Events occurring now seem to have proven him to be more prescient than the media.
