LIBYAN WEAPONS

According to the New York Times, the Obama administration "approved" the transfer of Qaddafi's arms to radical Islamists.There seems to be a lot of naivete regarding Middle East policy.  Will the administration do the same thing and arm rebels in Syria. . .who certainly seem to be al-Qaeda types.

The Obama administration secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar last year, but American officials later grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats.
